If a young boy shows talent far above his age, and people admire him for it, and if he receives awards, he gets accolades. The Nobel Prize is an accolade which many aspire for, but few win. Winning a grandslam title is the accolade any tennis star dreams of.

  • Galileo never won any accolade during his life time for his achievements.
  • Gandhi won accolades for discovering a new way to solve problems - the way of peace and non-violence.
