ambidextrous (adj) capable of using both the hands equally well.

If a person uses his right hand and left hand with equal ease, they are ambidextrous. Ambidextrous people do not find any difference between using their right hand and left hand. If a person writes equally well and equally easily with either hand, they are ambidextrous.

  • Richards won the prize in the shooting competition. Being ambidextrous, he can shoot equally accurately with both his hands.
  • It makes no difference to her whether she uses the right hand or the left hand, as she is ambidextrous.
