angular (adj) (of an objector or a figure) having sharp corners; (of a person) thin and bony; (of a person) stiff and graceless.

An object having sharp corners is angular. An angular object is likely to cause hurt, if not handled properly, because its sharp corners may cut into the flesh. A broken piece of metal is angular. Figures like a triangle, a parallelogram, etc., are angular because they have sharp corners. An angular thing doesn’t have rounded edges. A very thin person with so little flesh that their bones can be seen under their skin is angular. An angular person is a lean person. A person who is stiff, very formal, and lacks sociability is also angular.
