Appurtenances are things that form a part of something more valuable or important. They may also be additional to something more important. A house with all its appurtenances means, a house with all the furniture, the electric installations, etc., in it. A piece of land with all its appurtenances in it is the land along with the trees, buildings, sheds, etc., on it.
