aptitude (noun) talent; natural ability.

A person's aptitude is their natural ability or skill at doing something. Aptitude for medicine, for example, means the ability to be a good doctor or surgeon. Aptitude for singing means the inborn talent for singing. A person's aptitude should be taken into consideration before their careers are chosen.
