bandy (verb) exchange angry words; quarrel.
'The treasury benches and the opposition bandied complaints about each other in the parliament.' This means, they exchanged angry words accusing each other of being dishonest, unpatriotic, etc.. To pass remarks angrily at each other is to bandy.
