blasť (adj) tired of pleasure; not excited or worried about something (because we have experienced it already); bored.

When you are no more excited about something because you have already enjoyed it you are blasé about it. A rich person may be blasé about money, as they have already had a lot of money. When you are blasé about a luxurious trip to a place, you are not much excited about it, as you have had a number of such trips already. You are bored with pleasures when you are blasé about them, because they are not new to you.

  • Joan is blasé about any chance of making money because she has been fortunate to get one plum job after another, and has everything that money can get.
  • The fun that they could have on their expensive holiday in Paris, excited Jeff's friends, but it was blasé to him, as he has already had enough of such holidays.
