bohemian (adj) (of artists) living an unconventional life.
A person is Bohemian or lives a Bohemian life, if as an artist, they live their own way, without following the rules of behavior accepted as normal by the society. Mostly artists including painters, poets, musicians, etc. live that kind of life. Byron and Shelley, the famous English poets, were Bohemian, because they did not live the way most other people of their time did. Those who are Bohemian just do not care what others think of their way of life.
- Most untalented artists live Bohemian lives, thinking that by doing so, they will become great artists, or will be considered great artists, but quite often, they end up just leading Bohemian lives without becoming great.
- Usually society does not tolerate Bohemian attitudes, but when the person who is Bohemian is really talented, it gives them the regard due to them.
