braggart (noun) boaster.
A braggart is one who always talks loudly of what they have, or what they have achieved. A person who tries to make others believe that they are great by talking often of their achievements is a braggart. Braggarts praise themselves, whereas real achievers let others praise them.
- There is no need for Tiger Woods to be a braggart. His achievements as a golfer speak louder than words. People like him, make history whereas a braggart just ends up as a boaster.
- Boasting of oneself tires the listeners, so the braggart after some time is left with no listeners and thus no company.
