brawn (noun) physical strength (in comparison with brains).

Brawn is the strength of the body, especially when we talk of it in comparison with mental strength, namely intelligence. A person has both brains and brawn, when they are intelligent as well as physically strong. A strong mind in a strong body is believed to be the ideal combination. That is, the ideal person is intelligent as well as strong physically.
