camaraderie (noun) companionship and trust.

A feeling of companionship, friendship, and trust shared by people working as a team is camaraderie. Without camaraderie among the members of a group working for a goal, the goal cannot be achieved. That is, without a friendly feeling, trust, and warmth among the members of the team, the goal cannot be reached. The professors of a college can make the college great if they have camaraderie.

  • The director of the project was heartened to see the camaraderie among the members of the South Pole expedition, at their camp. The warmth, the trust, and the friendly feeling among them impressed him, and filled him with hopes of success.
  • With no camaraderie being shared by the members of the research team, little progress has been made in the company's effort to develop a drug for the disease.
