When a building is declared holy at a religious ceremony, the building is consecrated. It will from then be used as a church, as a temple, or as a place for holy activities. After the completion of the building of the temple, when it is consecrated at a religious ceremony, it is treated as holy. It will be used only for holy or religious purposes. When a person is declared as a priest or a bishop at a religious ceremony, the person is consecrated.
