Corrugated cardboard is cardboard having a series of parallel folds or wavy structure. Such cardboard is used in packaging systems when soft materials like biscuits, cookies, soaps, etc., are to be packed to be protected from damage. Corrugated iron sheets are used as roofing material. A person's face or any other part of their body is corrugated if the skin around the parts is wrinkled and folded.

  • The classrooms had corrugated iron sheets for roofs and whenever it rained the pit a pat of rain on the roof annoyed the teacher but delighted the children.
  • The pastry packages were damaged in the handling, and the cream stuck to the corrugated cardboard used for packing the pastries.
