coy (adj) shy (of women).
If a girl is shy in the presence of men she is coy. A girl who is coy is shy or pretends to be shy or innocent, especially in matters of love and sex. When a girl pretends to be innocent of sex and shy to attract men, she is coy. 'She was coy about telling him where she had her hair done so beautifully and where she had bought her dress.' This means that she was unwilling to tell him of it, just to make him the more interested in her.
