A credo is a creed, a statement a person makes about their principles, beliefs, and convictions. If a person states that theirs is the credo of peace, they mean that they believe in peace being the best solutions to all problems. A credo of love and charity is the belief in and a real attempt to extend love and charity to others. 'Help the helpless and sacrifice for them, is his credo.’ This means his actions are intended to help the helpless and to sacrifice anything for their sake.
