curator (noun) a person in charge of a museum, a library, etc..

Museums and libraries are in the personal care of the curators. They manage them. A curator is also in charge of an art gallery. They are entrusted with the responsibility of preserving the exhibits, books, etc.. Theirs is the responsibility to run the museum, the library, the art gallery, etc., as the case may be. They have also to sort out the exhibits and arrange them for the show.
