A high fever sometimes causes delirium. Delirium is usually a temporary mental disorder, during which the patient talks confusedly and continuously, and has hallucinations. The high temperature causes delirium. A patient in delirium cannot think clearly. A highly excited state, resulting from extreme happiness is also delirium. When a person is very happy over his victory and is highly excited, they are in delirium.
