Soldiers are deployed when they are moved into or placed in positions in which they are ready to fight. Weapons are deployed, if they are moved to positions from where they are ready for use. When soldiers' ranks are depleted, fresh troops of soldiers are deployed to fill the ranks. That is, soldiers are sent to join the ranks to make up for the loss of soldiers.
