A devotee of music is an enthusiastic listener of music and perhaps also practices it. A devotee of physical fitness is very enthusiastic about it, and does regular exercise to keep himself fit. A devotee of travel and tours is very much interested in them. A God-fearing person who is very religious is a devotee. A devotee offers regular worship and prays regularly. They follow all religious ceremonies strictly. A devotee is very pious.

  • Most of the Americans are ardent devotees of baseball and basketball. They are great enthusiasts of these games, and seldom miss an opportunity of watching them.
  • India is a country where many gods are worshipped, though most of the people are devotees of Lord Siva and/or Lord Vishnu. They worship them and visit their temples regularly.
