disaffected (adj) disloyal.
If as a result of dissatisfaction, you are no longer loyal to your company, party, leader, country, etc., you are disaffected. Not satisfied with the actions or attitudes of a ruler, leader, government, etc., if the people want to leave them, the people are disaffected. The members of a party, if disaffected, are no longer loyal to the party and may leave it.
- Many members of the party are disappointed with the despotic behavior of the leader, and are no longer in a mood to continue in the party. They are totally disaffected, and want to leave the party.
- If any in the former Soviet Union questioned the actions of the government, they were treated as disaffected, and were executed for disloyalty to the government.
