A river disgorges water at its mouth, as large quantities of water flow out of it. A waterfall disgorges water, as large quantities of water flows down the hill. On a weekday, trains disgorge commuters; that is, large numbers of commuters get off the trains. A hall or a place from where large crowds come out disgorges them. Chimneys of factories disgorge smoke. They issue smoke in large quantities. To disgorge is also to vomit. When a person disgorges they vomit what they have eaten or drunk.
