When you are so happy that you forget yourself and the surroundings, you are in a state of ecstasy. An achievement which you have set your eyes on, if accomplished, fills you with ecstasy. That is, you are filled with great joy at your success. Tensing Norgay, the first conqueror of Mt. Everest must have felt that kind of ecstasy when he stood on top of the world. That is, his heart must have been filled with such joy as to make him forget himself.
