The activity of gathering another country’s political and military information is espionage. The spying activity of the agent of one company gathering secret information of another company is also espionage. The famous James Bond movies are an account of the espionage activities of the secret agent James Bond, code numbered No. 007.

  • Espionage, though against the international law, is indulged in by every country. The Central Intelligence Agency of some countries has a notorious record in this respect.
  • Of all countries in the world, the US and the former USSR have a dubious reputation for espionage and counter espionage.
