fallible (adj) able to make mistakes.
Human beings are fallible; that is, it is in the nature of human beings to make mistakes, sometime or the other, in something or the other, in their lives. They are fallible in their understanding of situations and persons. That is, they go wrong in their understanding of people and situations. They are fallible in their judgment; that is they judge things wrongly, more often than not. Even surveys, claimed to have been conducted scientifically, are fallible, that is, they are not always correct.
- A good number of reports, claimed to be based on scientifically conducted surveys, turn out to be fallible, at least sometimes, as they are not totally free from errors.
