The ability to produce many children, animals, or plants is fecundity. The fecundity of land is its being fertile enough to produce good crops. The word 'fecundity' as applied to a person's imagination is the person's imagination which is of a high order, capable of producing new and ingenious ideas. A great poet has fecundity of imagination as has a great scientist. Fecundity of imagination makes the poet imaginative and the scientist very inventive.
