fickle (adj) changeable.

Anything changing suddenly and frequently is fickle. A person is fickle if they change their mind, decisions, or opinions about people and situations suddenly and frequently. You cannot be sure of what they think or decide the next minute. Fickle persons are unsteady and so are undependable. Fickle weather is frequently changing weather alternating between sun and rain. Fashions are fickle because they change too frequently.

  • Mike is fickle and never goes steady at anything. His mind is as changeable as the colors of the chameleon.
  • Lara found Charlie very fickle. He would be very warm towards her one minute and cool and reserved the next minute.
