flippant (adj) not serious.

If you take things easy while others are serious about them, you are flippant. You are flippant if you are playful and do not take things seriously when others expect you to show the same seriousness they are showing. 'You cannot be flippant when you are at work.' This means, when you are at work, you should take the work seriously.
