Frenetic actions are hurried actions resulting from nervousness, excitement, and uncontrolled emotions. The actions of a person are frenetic if they are full of energy and activity but without proper organization or planning. A person showing a lot of energy and activity but little organization does things in a frenetic manner.

  • Nelsonís frenetic actions are the result of his wild and energetic nature. He thinks very little before acting and as a result his actions lack proper planning.
  • The employees of the branch office of the company, totally unprepared for the visit of the CEO, in their attempt to impress him went into frenetic action, showing great enthusiasm and energy but in a hurried manner.
