fructify (verb) (of trees and plants) bear fruit; cause to bear fruit.
When a tree bears fruit, it fructifies. A tree which starts bearing fruits begins to fructify. Flowers fructify if they turn fruit.
- Different species of trees take different periods of time to fructify. Not all trees take the same time to bear fruit.
