giddy (adj) causing a reeling sensation; extremely happy; lighthearted.

When you are giddy you feel a reeling sensation - everything around you seems to go round and round and you feel that you might fall down. Giddy heights are heights which make you feel that you may fall if you look down from such heights. When you take things easy and behave lightheartedly you are giddy. When you do not bother even about serious matters you are giddy. When you do not behave normally because of excess of happiness, because something good has happened to you, you are giddy with happiness. You are excited. Your happiness makes you giddy.
