ignoble (adj) mean; unworthy.

Ignoble is the opposite of noble and means mean and worthless. Ignoble acts are mean acts of which the person who commits them should be ashamed of and embarrassed about. A person's feelings are ignoble if they are to be ashamed of them, and if the others consider them mean.
