The immobility of a truck is its inability to move perhaps because of a break down. The incapacity to move about is immobility. A bedridden person is in a state of immobility because they lack the ability to move about or out of bed. If the transport system breaks down, we experience immobility, that is, we are unable to move from one place to another.
