An impecunious person is a person without money, especially over a long period. Impecunious circumstances are a situation in which a person is poor and cannot raise money. Impecunious circumstances may drive people to do anything including bad things, just to keep their hunger off. That is, when people have no money over a long period, they may be tempted to get money by wrong or immoral means.
