imperceptible (adj) unnoticeable.
When a change is imperceptible, it is unnoticeable. We do not or cannot notice it because it is small. An imperceptible rise in temperature is an unnoticeable rise because the rise is so little. A slight change in speed, small enough not to be felt, is imperceptible. Imperceptible arrogance in a person is arrogance which they have but cannot be noticed. 'Her smile was imperceptible.' This means that she smiled so little that it was unnoticeable.
