When you implore someone to help you, you plead with them to help you. You beg them to help you, because you need their help very badly. If you implore someone to save you from a dangerous situation, you plead with them to save you.

  • 'Don't harm me, please let me go,' the child implored, but the hard-hearted man brutally hit it with a stick.
  • Though she implored him to stay for a day, he insisted on leaving. However much she might beg him to stay he did not change his decision to go.
