incorporeal (adj) without a body or form, insubstantial.
Our bodies are corporeal, whereas our minds are incorporeal; that is, our bodies are flesh and blood and they are material, whereas our minds lack material and form. Mind is something we cannot touch physically as it has no form. So it is incorporeal. Shadows, for example, are incorporeal because they have no substance. Visions, ghosts and spirits some people believe in, are incorporeal, as they are of no material.
- Almost all superhuman beings that we see in stories, movies, etc., are incorporeal. They are made of no material and are just shadows.
- No sword can pierce an incorporeal being. It lacks the material that can be pierced.
