inequity (noun) injustice; unfairness.
When you feel that you have been treated unfairly or unjustly, or when you are discriminated against, you feel you have been subject to inequity. If justice has been denied to you it is inequity.
- He complained about the inequity in their discriminating against him, simply because he was not from the same place as they. His point was that they are in a group and that demands they be all treated alike. For a long time the people in the British colonies were the victims of inequities under the British rule. They were only exploited, and never had they benefited from the rule of the British which claimed to be very civilized.
