lineaments (noun) (old fashioned and formal) (Usually plural) features of a personís face.
When you give a description of a personís lineaments you describe the features of the personís face. What kind of nose, eyes, ears, etc., a person has are their lineaments. ĎHer lineaments are attractive.í This means that she has attractive features; her face has good features.
- Her lineaments are much more attractive than in her photograph. Though beautiful she is not photogenic.
- On seeing her lineaments in the photo, the producer immediately decided to cast her in his next film. So he did, and the film goers found her features attractive too.
