When you muse you think carefully and deeply of some serious problem that is worrying you. When you muse you think deeply of something, ignoring what's happening around you. You say something to yourself thoughtfully, about a serious problem when you muse. When you muse you try to find an answer to a question that has been engaging your attention for sometime.
