A paragon of virtue is a virtuous person or a person who is given as an example of a virtuous person. A paragon of courage is a very courageous person or a person chosen as a model of a courageous person. A paragon of magnanimity is a supremely generous person.

  • The knights of the old whose only purpose in life was to protect the good and punish the bad were often considered paragons of gallantry.
