paranoia (noun) mental disorder causing the feeling that you are great or that others are going to harm you.

A person having paranoia has an abnormal mental state in which they believe that they are great and that others are out to harm them. They are haunted by the fear of persecution. People suffering from paranoia suspect everyone around them as having the intention of harming them.

  • Most rulers and people in positions of power suffer from paranoia. They get the feeling that they are very powerful and that the others are trying to remove them from their positions of power.
  • Paranoia always keeps people in a state of suspicion that they might be harmed by others. Therefore they trust none, including those very close to them.
