perversion (noun) behavior unacceptable to most people; distortion.

Perversion is behavior considered abnormal or unacceptable to most people, especially in matters of sex. Sadism, for example, is a kind of perversion, because the sadist derives pleasure from causing trouble and suffering to someone. Perversion is also distortion; that is, changing what is right and good into what is bad and wrong. No knowing what happens tomorrow, so enjoy today - this is an example of a perverse attitude. Democracy guarantees freedom of the individual, but interpreting this freedom as unlimited freedom to the individual is only a perverse.

  • Perversion can be in many forms, and one of them is to argue that because life is full of suffering, end it by ending life. So when you end someone's life you are doing good to him.
  • Her story is a perversion of truth; she has changed the whole thing by turning truth into falsehood, and giving an utterly false report of it.
