The veracity of a statement is its truthfulness. I do not doubt the veracity of his statement. This means that I do not doubt that his words are true. When someone's words have veracity, they are true.

  • I have no reason to doubt the veracity of his words. I see no reason to doubt the truth in his words, as he has always spoken truth to me.
  • The veracity of his words is yet to be proved. There has been nothing to prove the truth of his words.
