Faulkner University

The mission of Faulkner University is to glorify God through education of the whole person, emphasizing integrity of character in a caring Christian environment where every individual matters every day. Faulkner University is a Christian community of learners in the tradition of American higher education that seeks to educate the whole person by cultivating the moral, emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual dimensions of the individual. This practice is rooted in the liberal arts tradition of open inquiry, investigation, and engagement. The college environment promotes knowledge, professionalism, critical thinking, leadership, lifelong learning, and service to others - the true traits of spiritual development and great character. Students come to Faulkner from across the United States, predominantly from the southern states; and, several foreign countries. Geographically, Faulkner is situated at the doorstep of several American historical sites involving the Creek Indians, Spanish Explorers, Early American Settlers, Antebellum South, and Civil Rights. The university mission, geographic setting, and background create a caring, friendly, and supportive Christian learning environment. The Faulkner Experience provides the tools for students to excel in their careers, families, churches, and communities - in all aspects of life.
